Consultant orthopaedic surgeon Professor Nicola Maffulli MD, MS, PhD, FRCP, FRCS(Orth) is internationally renowned for pioneering surgical techniques and his prolific authorship and research. Honorary Professor for Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary University, he specialises in orthopaedics for both adults and children, joint replacement, hand and rheumatoid surgery and sports trauma injury. In 2012, he realised a lifelong dream when leading the foot and ankle surgical team at the London Olympics.
Consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon Mr Rohit Madhav MB BS FRCS (Ed) FRCS (Tr&Orth) specialises in complex foot and ankle surgery and his Central London private practice treats many professional athletes and dancers. He is foot and ankle surgeon to West End theatres, several notable performing arts organisations, the Royal and Central Ballet Schools, and is a key part of the support team for the NFL (National [American] Football League) and NBA (National Basketball Association) in London.
Mr Thomas Hester BSc (Hons) MBBS MRCS MSc (T&O) is a dedicated, caring and innovative consultant orthopaedic surgeon who holds the position of Trauma Lead at University Hospital Lewisham.
In 2005, Mr Hester gained a first-class Bachelor of Science degree with Honours from University College London (UCL) and won the Scales Prize for Orthopaedic Science. In 2006, he qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine with Distinction before going on to achieve a Master’s degree with Honours at the University of Brighton in Trauma & Orthopaedics (MSc (T&O)).
Mr Heidari MBBS, MSc, FRCS (Tr & Orth) is a highly regarded orthopaedic and trauma surgeon with a particular focus on the treatment of foot and ankle conditions including lower limb reconstruction, sports injuries and trauma. Hugely experienced and caring, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009 and has been a consultant at The Royal London Hospital since 2012.
