Gloria graduated from the University of East London in 1999 with an Honour’s degree in Physiotherapy. She progressed her studies to Master’s degree and Doctorate / PhD in Physiotherapy.
Gloria has extensive skills and knowledge at Post Graduate level of Musculoskeletal (MSK) dysfunctions and Rheumatology – Sports Injuries with special interest in spinal pain conditions with over 25 years of experience.
She has clinical Interest in the management of Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Notably Musculoskeletal Soft Tissue and Joint Injection Therapy (Ultrasound Guided Techniques).
She is an independent prescriber and is a Back and Neck Pain Specialist (using the New revolutionary treatment modality – Shock Wave Therapy).
She has worked alongside many Consultants and GPs in private practice (Rheumatology, Musculoskeletal, Outpatient and In-patient) in various roles such as a Consultant physiotherapist, Lead First Contact Physiotherapist, APP, Director of Therapies and hence possess a huge commitment to exceptional high-quality care and best clinical practice.
Gloria has a keen interest in education and contributes regularly to academic publication (Orcid.org / 0000-0002-6336-0375). She currently has four publications on Quality of Life. She has over 15 years history of working as a University Senior Lecturer. Gloria is currently a part time visiting Lecturer at the University of East London in the Health, Sports, and the school of Bioscience.
