I graduated from Glasgow University and completed my surgical training in the West Midlands, after which I passed the specialist FRCS qualification in plastic surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I was an NHS consultant for five years before leaving to join the private health sector. I currently have my practice and operate in London, Birmingham and The Cayman Islands.
I am registered with the General Medical Council’s (GMC) Specialist Register (#4615482) for Plastic Surgery and a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). I am also an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the British Lymphology Society.
I have twice been a council member in BAPRAS. I was their UK representative for the International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST) and their member working with the British Standards Institute responsible for improving European and national safety standards in non-surgical treatment.
I offer wide range of both aesthetic and reconstructive procedures. My specialist area is reconstructive breast surgery, lymphoedema surgery, lipoedema surgery and body contouring after massive weight loss.
Author of over 30 academic papers and book chapters, I also peer review articles for distinguished speciality journals and currently lead the BAPRAS specialist interest group in Lymphoedema and Lipoedema.
