I have dedicated my training to achieve a high standard in aesthetic and plastic surgery.I attended QMC (London University) to obtain a First class BSc(Hons) degree in Genetics, then completed my medical degree St Thomas’s and Guys hospitals, London in 1994 followed by a Masters degree at UCL, London. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in plastic surgery, FRCS(Plast), and I am listed on the GMC Specialist Register.
Two fellowships fine-tuned my training: a year at Toronto General/Mount Sinai Hospitals, Canada. A second fellowship in cosmetic surgery at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.I am Head and Clinical Lead in breast reconstruction at St Bartholomew’s and Royal London Hospitals.
My specialist area is breast, including procedures such as breast reduction, augmentation, symmetrisation, lift, lipofilling. I do nipple corrective surgery such as inversion correction and nipple reduction in the outpatient setting. I have talked nationally, internationally and presented extensively on breast surgery.
I also perform tummy-tuck (mini and full), liposuction, body sculpting and corrective surgery after massive weight-loss. I also run a clinic for removal of skin lesions.
All of these I perform in my private and NHS practice.
I am a full member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) I am a full member of BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons).and sit on the BAAPS Council, the BAAPS public relations committee and professional standards committee. I received the council medal in 2021 for services to aesthetic surgery.I have a particular interest in women’s surgery and can dedicate an all-women team to your surgical needs.
