Consultant Podiatric Surgeon

Suzanne Taylor is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon working within the Independent sector and NHS.  As a specialist in treating problems of the foot and ankle, Miss Taylor helps patients with a wide range of foot problems, including:

  • arthritis affecting the foot
  • joint pain; non-resolving foot pain following accidents and injuries & recurring foot pain
  • skin lesions
  • heel pain
  • bunions
  • ingrowing toenails
  • toe problems/ hammer toes
  • neuroma

All Health Insurance Companies cover consultation and treatment with this Consultant, and she holds ‘preferred provider’ status.  She sees self-pay cases (Initial consultation £200 and follow up consultations £125) 2022 rates.

Miss Taylor initially qualified as a Podiatrist in 1990 and has been committed to continuous learning to improve patient outcomes throughout her career, undertaking podiatric surgery training through to Completion Certificate in Podiatric Surgical Training (CCPST).

Although she held an NHS Consultant Post since 2010, her portfolio career in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery exceeds 32 years working in both NHS and Private Practice. Ms Taylor currently holds an NHS contract as Consultant Podiatric Surgeon with Essex Partnership NHS Trust. In 2022 she is extremely proud to be awarded the Gold Award of the Royal College of Podiatry for her outstanding contribution to her profession.

She is an Independent Prescriber and is annotated as a podiatric surgeon on the regulatory body website Check the Register: Details for | (hcpc-uk.org)  Pin Number CH11035 which provides governance and assurance of meeting the 19 standards of podiatrists practising podiatric surgery.

Miss Taylor undertakes 360 appraisals within her surgical colleague/patient group as well as contributing to the Consultant Appraisal Process.  As a recognised leader in the foot health field, she specialises in extended scope podiatric medicine & podiatric surgery. This covers the foot and associated structures.
