Mr Murugesan qualified from the University of Manchester Medical School before completing his training in Plastic Surgery in London, working at some of the UK’smost prestigious hospitals. He pursued sub-speciality fellowship training in Aesthetic Surgery at various clinics in London under the tutelage of eminent Aestheticsurgeons as well as working in Reconstructive Microsurgery in two of the world top 10 ranked cancer hospitals, Princess Margaret (UHN) in Toronto and the RoyalMarsden in London.

Mr Murugesan taught anatomy in St George’s medical school. He received a distinction for his laboratory work and thesis in regenerative biology at the Randallcentre for cell and molecular biophysics in King’s College London. He also earned a Master’s degree in Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery from the University Collegeof London. He was conferred the illustrious Hackett Memorial Award by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) for his work on reducingcomplications in aesthetic surgery. He has a number of peer-reviewed scientific publications and is actively involved in scientific engagements, conferences andcourses attending as a speaker, teacher, or delegate.
