Mr Rohit Madhav

Consultant orthopaedic and trauma surgeon Mr Rohit Madhav MB BS FRCS (Ed) FRCS (Tr&Orth) specialises in complex foot and ankle surgery and his Central London private practice treats many professional athletes and dancers. He is foot and ankle surgeon to West End theatres, several notable performing arts organisations, the Royal and Central Ballet Schools, and is a key part of the support team for the NFL (National [American] Football League) and NBA (National Basketball Association) in London.

He is renowned for his skill in treating lower limb injuries and disorders, including the whole spectrum of foot and ankle conditions (fractures, arthritis, joint replacements, hammer toes, tendon conditions including Achilles, cartilage and ligament surgery, and bunions) and offers outstanding expertise in arthroscopic and other minimally invasive surgical techniques. One of Mr Madhav’s key strengths is his deep understanding of the complexity of orthopaedic disorders and their various effects on lifestyle at different stages of life. In 1990, Mr Madhav graduated from St Georges Hospital Medical School before undertaking specialist training at Imperial College London. In 2004, once FRCS (Tr&Orth) accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons, he took up a consultant orthopaedic surgeon post at University College London Hospitals NHS Trust, where he amassed a wealth of experience. He entered private practice eight years later and was a former founding partner of The London Orthopaedic Clinic.

He has been widely published in educational and research publications, is a sought-after lecturer and mentor to other foot and ankle specialists and convenes the London Regional Foot and Ankle Surgeons problem cases bi-monthly meeting.
