Consultant Physiotherapist, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound & Medicine

Having specialised in musculoskeletal medicine for almost 20 years, Mr Suresh Sudula MCSP has gained enormous experience and a unique skillset. His expertise in both musculoskeletal ultrasound and medicine means that he can carry out both diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound scans.

He is also the founder and director of Kent Musculoskeletal Clinic and a programme director for MSK medicine and MSK ultrasound fellowship at The Regenerative Clinic in London. Both private clinics, the former offers specialised ultrasound guided injection and ‘one stop shop’ musculoskeletal services and the latter innovative non-operative treatments, such as stem cell therapy, offering less invasive, non-surgical treatments for a number of orthopaedic conditions.

His specialist interest is advanced ultrasound guided musculoskeletal interventions, including orthobiologics and ultrasound guided spinal injections, and his qualifications include a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy and a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from Canterbury Christ Church University.

In 2014 he became the first UK physiotherapist to win a visiting fellowship at the radiology department of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, renowned for its ground-breaking MSK ultrasound work. He partnered with musculoskeletal ultrasound education provider SonoSkills in 2019, taking the role of course director for an e-learning MSK ultrasound guided injection masterclass, which is now available online.

Mr Sudula is a regular presenter on MSK ultrasound courses and Musculoskeletal Society conferences, both in the UK and overseas, and is a visiting lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University, where he helps deliver a Musculoskeletal Ultrasound PG Cert programme.
