Mr Michail Vourvchis

Mr Vourvachis is a Plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than 10 years of experience in Reconstructive and in Cosmetic surgery and specialises in Facial rejuvenation, Body contouring and Breast surgery.  Dr Vourvachis is an expert in regenerative procedures, such as the cutting-edge stem-cell and stromal-enriched Microfat and Nanofat grafting, a minimally invasive procedure for facial and body volumisation and rejuvenation.

 

Mr Vourvachis is one of a few dually qualified surgeons in the United Kingdom with both a Medical and a Dental degree and who has received training in both Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery. He has a diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in dental surgery and of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Surgery.

 

After graduating in Dentistry from Charles University in Prague and then in Medicine from St Georges University of London, he completed a Master of Science degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery  at the University College London (UCL), which he obtained with honours. He then continued his higher surgical training in Maxillofacial and in Plastic and reconstructive surgery in some of the busiest university hospitals in the country, getting a vast experience in head and neck, breast and skin cancer reconstruction, extremity reconstruction, burns and paediatric plastic surgery.

Mr Vourvachis completed a microvascular fellowship training at the world-renowned Royal Marsden hospital in London, one of the leading hospitals in the world in the diagnosis and reconstruction of breast, perineum, chest wall, soft tissue sarcomas and skin cancer.

 

Mr Vourvachis obtained his Cosmetic surgery training with some of the leading Cosmetic surgeons in London and in Europe, learning the most cutting-edge techniques in the field of cosmetic surgery.

 

Mr Vourvachis has a vast teaching experience in cosmetic medicine and he is actively involved in more than 20 aesthetic courses in Harley Elite Academy in Harley street, London. Over the years, he has trained numerous national and international delegates who then continued to pursue a very successful career in the aesthetic industry.

Dr Vourvachis teaching enthusiasm and expertise in regenerative medicine allowed him to create the very popular stem-cell and stromal-enriched Microfat and Nanofat grafting course for facial and body volumisation and rejuvenation. This is a minimally invasive cutting-edge technique that can be performed under local anaesthesia with minimal downtime and very fast recovery.

Mr Vourvachis has presented over 60 national and international papers, abstracts and book chapter in some of the most prestigious conferences in Europe and around the world.
