Mr Stapleton is a specialist in Podiatric Sports Medicine specialising in the diagnosis and management of sports and musculoskeletal injuries.

Mr Stapleton graduated from University of Brighton in 2005 during its period as the centre of excellence for Podiatry in the UK and was among the first 6 Podiatrists nationwide to gain the coveted PGc in Podiatric Sports Medicine from Queen Mary University of London and holds a PGdip in Podiatric surgery from Queen Margaret University.

Mr Stapleton is an extended scope Podiatrist which includes Prescription only Medicine, nail and minor skin surgery, with special interest sports injuries, utilising an array of treatment modalities to fast track a return to sport as soon as possible. He Has a special interest in non-surgical treatment of Achilles and Plantar fascia injuries, Ankle and Midfoot Arthritis, and Morton’s neuroma forefoot pain.Mr Stapleton says; “I believe each patient should be treated as an individual, specific to their injury, circumstances, and priorities. This works best as part of a team approach, with the patient integral to that team”. Mr Stapleton has a friendly approachable nature believing in communicating and educating patients in a way they can understand, enabling and encouraging them to make decisions about their own treatment.

He is listed on the HCPC register with POM annoation, the first Podiatrist to be accepted as a member of the British Association of Sports and Exercise Medicine, and proud to be a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow’s faculty of Podiatric Medicine.

Mr Stapleton has been honoured to speak at some large national conferences, including the Royal College of Podiatry national conferences, the Elevate sports at Excel London, Podiatric Sports Medicine conference on Harley Street, and Foot and Ankle show. As well as expert opinion pieces published in various sports magazines.
